Horseshoe Crabs
The horseshoe crab is one of Florida's most mysterious and fascinating creatures. Although
extensive research has been conducted, much is still unknown about this animal.
This publication discusses the horseshoe crab species Limulus polyphemus, one of four species
of horseshoe crabs and the only species found in North America. Topics covered include
